Vikings Look To Right Wrongs

A year of topsy turvey seasons reaches its pinnacle on Sunday when the Minnesota Vikings play the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Vikings appear to have turned things around after a turbulant off-season
which got worse with a shaky 2-5 season start. There was then the 'boat party icident' - after which the Vikings could have fallen apart. Instead they responded and have ended up on a six-game winning streak.

Zygi Wilf (owner) said, "it seems like I've gone through six years already."

The boat party incident is ongoing but there is a big difference between allegations, charges and convictions - so it's 'wait and see' for the Vikings. If convictions come down, players could face ninety days in jail on each count.

It hasn't been plain sailing for the frachise historically either:

There was an embarrassing Super Bowl ticket-scalping incident involving Tice and
the infamous "Whizzinator" substance-abuse suspension of Onterrio Smith.

The Vikings were the joke of the NFL early on. It reflected on every player past and present. Maybe they team can begin to atone for the errors of judgement from team-mates - by continuing this unbeaten run.
