Vitt To Take Charge of Rams?
The St. Louis Rams are 3-4 as they prepare for Jacksonville on Sunday - they are shooting to be .500 at the bye and want to look ahead to their game at Seattle with a 50% record.
Front office 'controversy' has led some people to speculate that Martz won't coach another game for the Rams. The coach is on indefinate leave.
While players are loyal to Martz, they realize their job is to play football, regardless of who the coach is. It hasn't been easy for Vitt either, who is close to Martz too, but he has kept the players as focused as possible.
"I don't read the papers" said Vitt, "I am not a tabloid guy. My life hasn't changed one bit. It's my job to prepare a football team to go win a big game....we had a good practice today, and we'll have a better practice tomorrow. And we're going to prepare to win the game."
