Paris Hilton To Play For Houston Texans
Seth Payne for the Houston Texans would like to lead by example, but after the first seven games of the season, it's apparent that it isn't working. That's why the veteran spoke to the team in an unusual meeting
Payne, 30, who has been in the NFL since 1997, put down ideas of the meeting being a major deal; "That's not what it was. It was private, and I just felt like it was a time to say something."
Houston stand with a 0-6 record and it is becoming obvious that the Texans lack the talent other teams possess. One NFL fan commented; "Maybe they (Houston) should draft Paris Hilton, ok she's skinny, but at least there would be something nice to look at when the Texans play."
But the Texans problems run deep. Players are becoming upset, job security of Dom Capers (coach) and Charley Casserly (general manager) are lingering issues. To say that Player morale is low would be an understatement.
Payne's 'speech' which he gave after Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts - came at an appropriate time. The Texans come up against the Cleveland Browns (2-4) next, one of the few teams in the league that they have a real chance against.
