Bus Brings Home Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Steelers were low on confidence before their game against the Bears.
They'd started this season as Super Bowl contenders but are now fighting to keep playoff hopes alive having dropped three consecutive games - the first time this has happened since 2003.
Pittsburgh overcame their state of mind and broke out with a brave running display with Jerome Bettis at the centre of everything. The Steelers finally tasted victory -21-9.
Bettis ground out over a hundred yards in terrible conditions to help his team to reach 190 rushing yards. In that display he added to scoring plays. "I made a living on carrying people." said Bettis. At 5 foot 11 inches and 255 pounds the tag might actually have been issues due to his build - still, noone will care after the victory.
In winning, the Steelers delayed the Bengals winning of the AFC North. Pittsburgh also benefited from San Diego and Kansas City losses - leaving the three teams at 8-5.
Chicago are now 9-4 - still a game ahead of the Vikings in the NFC North.
